The Isle of Wight provides some of the most diverse scenery found in the British Isles. You can stand in one spot and by turning 360o can experience seascapes, woodland, downland and some of the most picturesque villages you will see anywhere. You are almost certain to have seen a picture of Godshill Church above the thatched cottages on a chocolate box or calendar and likely as not a photo of Shanklin Village somewhere too. Here are just some of the sights you might see. But look out for Alum Bay Coloured Sands, Freshwater Bay and Tennyson Down and the River Yar at Yarmouth.
Godshill Church an infamous view...
but have you seen this cottage just across the road?
